Clay pot dish @ Sugar Bun
Hey there readers,
How have you been? Finally the sun is out after a week of super rainy days! I sorta love hate the cold weather. Love it cause I can stay in bed and cozy up with my blanket and drink a cup of hot tea! hehe So during those cold days... all I think about is keeping myself warm. Looking for food that can keep me warm, like hot soup or any spicy food. So last week, me and my 2 colleagues went out for lunch looking for something that can keep us warm and also healthy. Planned to eat vegetable soup at a nearby restaurant however my colleague, Amilia suggested that we should try the clay pot thing at Sugar Bun just opposite to Huaho Mulaut. It's been while since I last went to Sugar Bun and I usually went there to eat the Fried Chicken or the Burgers so I thought, why not try something new there right?
So we ordered the clay pot dish!
Chicken Mushroom soup for me.
Beef Stew soup for Amilia.
Chicken Curry for Rinnie.
I would say mine is pretty nice, not too salty and I just love the soup and the fact that they use fresh mushrooms makes me enjoy it more as I'm not a big fan of can mushroom. The chicken was cooked to perfection, so moist and still soft! Love it *thumbs up*
Amilia sure enjoyed her Beef Stew soup, it was the best Beef Stew soup I've ever tasted! (Not that I've ever tasted a real Beef Stew before! hahaha :p) The taste is all in there, the aroma of the parsley and I don't know what they put in there but it surely brings out the deliciousness in the Beef Stew. What I love the most about Amilia's dish was, the BEEF! The star of the soup, so tender and you don't even have to work your jaw to chew it. I'll definitely come back for the Beef Stew! :)
Last but not least, that didn't really interest me.... the Chicken curry. hahaha Not a big fan of Chicken curry (i think?) I don't really know how to explain the taste but if you want to eat Chicken Curry, its best eaten in an Indian restaurant. hehe Still love the chicken though, very soft and tender.
So if any of you would like to try and looking for some sorta budget lunch meal, try the clay pot dish from Sugar Bun. Kenyang jugak lah ~ hehe
Until next time!
xoxo,
W.
