Hello there again readers!
How was your Sunday? Hope you had a great one! Well I certainly had one. Yesterday, my niece was celebrating her belated 9th birthday at my parent's place. She has always been dreaming of having a "Princess themed party" for her birthday or maybe "Masquerade themed party". As she is still young to have a masquerade themed party, I decided to just go with the princess themed party and just prepare her a nice princess themed dessert table! Dessert table is the IN thing now aren't they? and honestly I'm too lazy to decorate the whole place and the whole thing so lets just focus on one thing, DESSERT TABLE! I've been preparing my niece's dessert table for one whole week and I'm somewhat glad how it turned out. Not a pro of course but it's alright for amateur :p

Say hello to Yasmin, the birthday girl. |
This is before the event started, I love how she dressed! So I told her to pose for the OOTD (Outfit of the day) hehe. Gap Kids for the top, that explains why I love her top. She actually wore a Doc Marten's boots and it was sooooo cute! Didn't get to take the whole picture of her outfit hehe
Shall we start the party?

Delicious macaroons from a friend's mum. Ordered 5 flavors, Rose, Peanut Butter, Chocolate, Pistachio and Yam! What I love about these macs is that they are LESS sweet. |

Super Adorable Mini Red Velvet cupcakes. Cheese and Nutella Frosting! |
|
Goodie Bags for those who came! For the boys and the girls.

Now everything is complete :) The Oreo cheesecake was a last minute additional,
a gift from a family. |
It was a relieved when I have positive feedback from my family and cousins. This was my 2nd dessert table set up after Syasya's Birthday last year. The credits shouldn't be given to me alone but Irfan did help in customizing all the lovely and beautiful banner, labels and place card. Been planning and preparing all these for one whole week, looking and searching for pink color decor, pink colored finger foods, pink flowers, pink balloons.. just as per request by Yasmin. The fun part about this was, Yasmin didn't get to see the set up until everything was ready! It's a surprise by me :) Happy to know, she was surprised and she LOVED IT! She told me she loves everything about the set up and especially the banner, "Now I can stick them on my wall in my bedroom" she said.

Pls don't judge. haha I promise its so... delicious you want
more! |
Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the foods served during the party. BOO... I only managed to take a picture of my plate LOL. It may not look appetizing, but it surely was delicious!! My mom home-cooked Spaghetti Bolognese and some cheese sausages! hehe There were other finger food too such as Karipap and Samosa.
What is birthday without bouncer right? Birthday is all about celebrating with your love ones, singing the birthday song, blowing out candles, cutting cake and the best part.... playing bouncer with your friends and family! hehe I'm not shy to say that I AM NEVER TOO OLD FOR BOUNCER! So, I jumped in and join the fun :p My brother in law has this "Foam Machine" that creates foam and made it look like snow! It was so much fun and we all totally enjoyed it. Thank you to everyone who made this happened! Nope, Brunei is not snowing people, just the foam from the machine. HEHE
Until then!
xo,
W.
