Food Review #37: Games and Lattes Cafe

It has always been a blissful Mondays for me so far. Hope it remained this way until whenever (which is not going to happen! haha) Yesterday I planned to meet up with my long lost sister, Fifah for a long way overdue lunch date. We kept postponing it because our time didn't match so luckily we're free for lunch yesterday. Hooray! The tough question is "Where shall we eat?" or "Where/What to makan (eat)?". It's even harder than A-level exam, I promise. LOL 

We drove around Kiulap area as there were many newly open cafes and restaurants around that area. Still, after 15 - 20 minutes driving around.. we haven't come to a conclusion. haha Girls are so indecisive guys! You have to bear in mind. :P Finally, we've set our mind and heart to try out Nerdee Cafe WITHOUT even checking their opening hours on Instagram. Walking with so much excitement in us only to find out that it was close on Mondays. -.-" Truly disappointing. haha Walking away with speedy pace.. along with shame on our faces we ended up trying this new cafe called Games and Lattes (click name for link to their IG).

Basically, this cafe has the same concept like Nerdee Cafe where you can hangout with friends and play board games at the same time. The menu offered are mostly light ones, no heavy meal. I guess it is just a place for friends to catch up or high tea and hangout. Not bad lah for me, the prices are just nice too. Just like in regular cafes and restaurants. 

Hot Chocolate - BND 3.50

 (Excuse me as I don't really quite remember the pricing.. Oh boy! I guess I should've noted down the price every time I try something. hmm)

Lamb BBQ Panini served with fries - BND 6.9

I believe, the desserts are the selling point here and I shall try other dessert too the next time I drop by cause all the desserts on display looks pretty tasty! The salted caramel cake was heaven *insert love emoticon*. The fries however .... double thumbs down. We both expected some other seasoning and rather crispy but it was served soft and soggy and the actual seasoning was just chili flakes. Aiyoo Hope you guys can improve on frying the fries. hehe 

Lamb BBQ Panini however tasted quite decent. The lamb were quite tender and soft and I can definitely tasted the BBQ seasoning, however, the lamb meat were too little in portion to my liking. Other than that, everything is fine. 

Coming back to try their other desserts!
