Crab Themed Table Setup

Time flies real quick and finally it was my mother's birthday (yesterday). The siblings didn't have anything in mind neither to surprise her nor celebrate her birthday. We then came up with the idea of surprising her (not that grand la!) instead along with setting up the table with a "Crab Themed" since she love crab alot so why not right? I did thought of floral table setting however since this was a last minute thing and the lack of budget (You need fresh flowers to make things more beautiful right? and fresh flowers does cost a fortune! *faint*) so I decided to just set a crab theme table setup. :D

"Hired" my very own / personal Graphic Designer... which is my own fiance! LOL :)) Asked him to help me design a few things for the table setup such as place-mats, table sign, flag topper and some crab decor to be left scatter on the table. It was some how a little mixture of 'nautical' kinda theme but this.. was just CRAB heheh :D

Not a professional work but I did justice. :) 

They're pretty aren't they?! I love it a whole lot :) and so.. it looks like this on the table....

Foods starting to be served...

A little overexposed on the photo but look at that curry crab my dad cooked especially for my mother! Voila~ looks good aren't they! Of course they were, what do you expect?! Special dish cooked with 200% love! heheh :D anyways, that's pretty much the setup I can come up with as I have limited time. Got home pretty late and pretty much rushed everything so.. the very much decent work I can present for my mom. Not bad ey? :p

We also thought that maybe we don't need a real birthday cake for my mom and used REAL CRAB instead! Unique right?! heheh :p and pls excuse me as we don't have the fanciest food on the table cus we're ASIAN + BRUNEIAN HAHAHA LOL Hence the food (as you can see)

Some of my siblings were missing but all in all, it was a great surprise birthday party! I am so proud of me and my fiance hahaha that we can actually pulled off a last minute table setup for my mom's birthday! *self pat on the shoulder :))* oh! The unique cake was then replaced with a real chocolate cake haha! That was basically it.. a simple table setting you can do for someone special! Of course it would be a lot nicer if there were enough props to be put on the table but its okay!

Happiest Birthday Shoutout to my most loving mother in the whole wide world, I know we are not the easiest children for you to take care of but I am very sure our love for you will never grow old. We love you very much and there's nothing we can do to repay whatever you have done for us, you have sacrificed for us, the money you have spent on us. On this very special day, we really hope you are happy. We simply did not want to splurge you into some materialistic stuff but instead some actions that truly came from our heart. Of course, the presents will come later. hehe I love you mummy to the moon and back and no one deserves a better place in my heart other than you. Hugs and Kisses!
