Eating Clean

Hi lovelies! 

Haven't been posting anything on my blog. Been busy! I apologize for that :) How's everyone doing? I've been unhealthy and fat.. been overeating and all hence the unhealthy condition! LOL feeling exhausted and lazy all the time! So right now... I've been trying to eat clean! 



Lately I've been busy meal prep-ping my lunch. Need to have balance diet from all the food intake. For the 1st week of my eating clean progress, I choose:

Protein : Chicken Breast
Vegetables : Long Beans, Carrots and Tempe (Not sure if tempe is consider as vege! LOL)
Starch : Brown Rice

For the chicken breast, I just marinated in some honey mustard sauce (The more spice you use the better!) and some other spices like oregano or parsley or any available spices in your kitchen. hehe and then I just pan fry them with tiny bit of olive oil. As for the vegetables, I cut the carrots into dice and so as the tempe. Stir fry the long beans and carrots with olive oil without any salt or anything. As to the tempe, I stir fry them with some shallots, garlic, chili and sweet soy sauce (not too much)

I chose to mostly "pan fry" or "stir fry" because its the easiest ways to cook and fastest ways! hahaha I shouldn't have though but lucky I'm using the olive oil. /blush I will try to bake my foods more in my next meal prep! hehe I didn't know I'm gonna enjoy meal prep-ping so much! hahaha :)) 

You basically need to "Plan, Shop and Prep", plan what are you going to have for the week and then shop for all the ingredients and lastly, Prep! Easy as 123 :D I'm definitely gonna continue meal prep-ping my lunch boxes!

Apparently, eating clean does not play the role alone for losing weight. You need to exercise too in order to lose some weight and keep fit! I used to jog every single day but not anymore as my time is packed with work now and only come home at 5.30pm. But worry not, you can still do home workouts like "Pilates" - very famous nowadays, you can try "Insanity",  "Focus T25" and some other workouts! It will definitely help you keep fit and stay healthy.

All I'm trying to do now is be healthy, eat healthy and live healthy. Even ordered a healthier choice of sushi! hahahaha not sure if that unagi sushi is a healthier choice! LOL Tryin to get rid of fry and oily foods, junk foods and anything unhealthy. Pushing myself to more veges and fruits :) Well.. I hope I can survive this! Definitely will cheat for afew times :p but will try my best to be strict with my food consumption! Best of luck to those who wants to keep fit and healthy!
