Singapore Trip - Part Un
Hey you all :)
How's everyone doing?! Hope you're all doing fine. Haven't got the time to properly update my blog hence the hibernation :p hehe but in sha Allah I'll update often! Anyways, few weeks ago (If im not mistaken haha!) I was backpacking (Not really backpacking! Just want to have the feel of saying it) to SG from KL. Yeah.. I just went to KL few days before that LOL :)) but that was a spontaneous plan and this was not.
So.. we left Irfan's casa subang apartment at 8.30 ish in the morning and arrived in KLIA 2 at around 9.30 ish. We had some noodle in a cup for breakfast but that wasn't enough for me! LOL Then we straight away went to Loaf for some "light" breakfast.
My so-called backpacking buddies! LOL. Left- Fifah, Afif and me!
Smile Fifah!
Fifah boy version. LOL
Mushroom & Chicken Quiche and Garlic Bread.
Chocolate Croissant that I never want to miss! :)
This is what you can call a backpacker as he carries a proper backpack! LOL
Compared to mine :( hahaha
Trying to kill the time at the airport!
Anti-social elite. haha
Afif tries really hard to steal some baggage for extra baggage to Singapore but FAILED.
While waiting to depart we all had some BOOST JUICE! A healthy choice I must say :D
The Mr found a way to kill time by playing "The Voice" on his iPad. haha
and then.. It rained and I had my fingers crossed in hope that our flight will be safe! One fact about me is that I'm scared of going on an airplane. hehe but Alhamdulillah the flight went smooth. :)
Upon arrival in Changi Airport..
EXCITED :D
Fifah and Afif welcomes you to Singapore! hehe
Excuse my excitement :p
Didn't know it was a huge airport that we need to take Skytrain from T3 to T1! Seriously?! How big is the Changi Airport? I have yet to discovered. Maybe next time!
Some of the photos are from my phone! :)
My very own MRT Ticket! hehe sorry.. too excited :p And from Changi Airport we used MRT straight to Bugis. How convenient was that?! DOUBLE THUMBS UP! I'm loving Singapore already hehe
So this is Bugis Village!
My typical tourist shot.
And we got lost finding our hotel...... :( we bought a map (still not helpful enough) and simcard to use the power of Google Map! haha and we thanked Google for being the major help of our hotel search!
Fifah got so tensed looking for our hotel.. there were some problems with our hotel booking and all and therefore we had to switch hotel to V Hotel Bencoolen. Luckily we managed to find ourselves some budget hotel or else we might be homeless / hoteless traveller! hahaha :))
The room was quite small but I'm quite happy with the quality in terms of cleanliness. Photo credits: Google

Soon after unpacking and resting for at least 15 minutes.. we all walked around Bugis and start searching for Halal food!
Spot Fifah and Afif in the crowd! hehe and so.. we arrived at Bugis Plus+ and the search continues......
and out of so many restaurants.. we chose The Manhattan Fish Market!
Sorry for the blurry image! That person was actually melting the cheese on top of our food! Tadaaaa~~
Seafood galore! deep fried fish, calamari rings, french fries and Mediterranean rice below all that! and oh! Melted cheese on top of grilled prawns. Yum in the tummy! All that worth SGD64++ (Expensive compared to the foods in Brunei :( )
The after... hahahaha told ya we were hungry!
We then have a taste of this Ireland's potato! Look so tempting... and we tried the fries with Honey mustard topping. It was just like regular fries but with honey mustard on top. Nevertheless, it was good!
We then later on shopping in the Bugis Plus+ and Bugis Junction (The building is connected) and out to Bugis Street after. Love the night view!
Bugis street is pretty well known for their cheap stuff! You can get anything cheap here I promise. Its basically like "Pasar Malam" if you were to call it it malay or in Brunei. Well, something similar to that. Bugis street is one of the tourist main destination in Singapore too besides Orchard Road. I'm glad I lived around Bugis area and I swear there were alot more places to discover the next time I visit! Hopefully, In sha Allah :)
That is all for now, in sha Allah I'll continue with my post soon! Thanks for dropping by! :D
xo,
W.
