Engagement.

ENGAGED?! 

I AM. hehe Honestly, nobody really knows that I'm getting engaged. Didn't plan on telling anybody, NOT even my closest friends. I'd rather let them be surprise than to tell them in details :p but that is okay.. I'm gonna fill in the details of my engagement here in this post and I am truly sorry for holding this post up! :)

So.. I was gonna go with ivory + gold kinda theme for this engagement, however later on after being advised by some people I have agreed to change it to Floral theme! Which I'm kinda scared it might turn out to be a disaster or ugly. (Too much negativity! I know! haha) The person who did my dais were from CakesandCrafts and she have decided to do the paper floral for my backdrop. I have seen her work and seen her putting up her magical touch on people's event and it was absolutely wonderful. And so, I trust her with everything.

Mind you all the papers for the backdrop were handmade! I only did 5 or 6 out of all that paper floral! hahaha :p Didn't know it would look beautiful when everything were put together :D

Loving the flower arrangement! Mix of different fresh flowers and she even inserted the succulent flower! Didn't even think it would look pretty with all those flowers but it does! How creative can she be?! :D Love everything about this.

Next.. The engagement day! *Nerve-wrecking I swear!*

My  SUPER nervous face :)) How can you not be nervous?! I do not know how the groom and bride pulled off at their wedding with a big smile on their face without having a nervous breakdown! Hahah but its your big day anyway so you shouldn't feel nervous (maybe a little is alright) but what matter the most is that you're happy and able to share your glorious moment with your loved ones! isn't it? :D

In Malay tradition, getting engaged is not like how the western always do it by proposing down on their knees asking "Do you wanna marry me?" (I still think that is sort of romantic though :p) but in our tradition, the parents of the guy will come over to the girl's place and put on the ring on the girl's finger instead. So Alhamdulillah, I'm someone's fiance.:)

Ain't he the sweetest? He surely is. So glad we could make this happen, sayang. I have never believed in getting engaged at an early age and yet here I am engaged to you at this very early age (not really). We've come a long way, through ups and downs, through thick and thin, through stormy weather, through everything (typical cheesy saying :p) and we survived. We've proven that we are strong enough to go through any challenges and obstacles without having to separate with one another! Alhamdulillah ya Allah for what you've sent to me. I will always keep this in mind "Always choose the people who loves you", why you might ask? Because they'll always love you more no matter what and they will try really hard to make you fall in love with them thus in the end everything will be worth their fight. Well, at least that's how my story goes. Thank you so much for everything. In sha Allah, we'll take it to another level. Just pray for us! :)
